Batt O’Keeffe, Minister for Enterprise, Trade & Innovation, who was Minister for Education during most of the renovation work, officially opened the new extension to Dromleigh National School. He paid tribute to the part played in Dromleigh National School by the parish and priests since it was first established by Fr James O'Driscoll PP 170 years ago. |
Yes, exiles, that really IS Dromleigh school. The magnificent new extension, with two extra classrooms, a staffroom, hall and reception area, was blessed by Fr Cremin and opened by Batt O'Keeffe TD on Monday 31st of May. Here we see children and parents waiting for the arrival of the Minister. |
